Verdict
Edibles are the usual problem: a brownie or gummy on the floor. Cats show dilated pupils, wobbliness, lethargy, and sometimes vomiting or urinary accidents. Chocolate in the edible adds a second toxin. CBD oils may still contain THC, flavorings, or xylitol. This page is not permission to “microdose” a cat.
Symptoms to watch for
- • lethargy
- • wobbliness
- • drooling
- • vomiting
- • urinary accidents
What to do
Keep the cat safe from stairs and bathtubs. Call a vet, especially if the edible had chocolate or the cat is unresponsive.
