Melatonin gummies and tablets are a frequent “I gave my cat this to sleep” search. This site does not provide a dose. Many chewables use xylitol, which is a separate problem (especially in dogs; still avoid in cats). Plain melatonin overdose is often sedation; the extras on the label are what turn it into an emergency.
